Are you ready to let go of those limiting beliefs and embrace the change of the season?

In this post, I’m sharing 5 ways to help you let go of limiting beliefs and release what no longer serves you by embracing change.

“Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. If, in our heart, we still cling to anything-anger, anxiety, or possessions-we cannot be free.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

I’m sure you have seen the images on social media showing a tree losing its leaves and something about “even trees know to let go”…or something along those lines.

Embrace change and let go

embracing change

But why is it so hard for us humans to let go?? 😭

Even as a coach and an energy healer, I find it difficult to let go of certain things.

Maybe it’s a kind of feeling, or sense, of control. Or…we’ve been living with x, y or z for so long that we don’t know how or who we’d be if we let it go.

The mind can be a cruel thing.

It wants to keep us safe. It really does.

However, it doesn’t like change. But change is what we need to allow us to grow into our best selves.

We keep telling ourselves the same thing we’ve always told ourselves and believe what we’ve always believed.

Why?

Because it’s what we know. It’s what we’re familiar with.

It’s safe…even though it can keep us from growing and really living!

When I was young, I think I was fearful of most things (especially clowns…I mean c’mon! 🤡).

I was shy (you’d often find me hiding behind my mother’s leg if I didn’t know you), quiet (unless I DID know you and trust you…then, there was often a dance party going on), and my stuffed animals were just another part of my family.

Releasing my own limiting beliefs

Over the years, I’ve done A LOT of work on myself including working on letting go of a lot of my fears, limiting beliefs and my negative self-talk (but I STILL do NOT like clowns!)

Although I’ve come a long way, I’ve made it part of my lifestyle.

Now I read personal development books nearly every day.

I listen to mindset and positive podcasts every week.

I meditate and take walks.

And I’ve hired coaches that have helped me with my mindset which in turn now allows me to help others.

What are you holding on to due to fear?

Is there something you want to let go of during this new season?

Of course it can be scary to let go. You’ve lived so long with what you’ve been holding on to, you don’t know how life would look without it.

It’s certainly a life-long process if it’s important to you.

embrace change

What can you do to let go and embrace change?

Here are 5 ways you can begin to release whatever is holding you back:

  1. Meditate. Here is a guided 10-minute meditation for you. Enjoy!
  2. Walk in nature. Best if you’re unplugged from your phone.
  3. Breathwork.  To learn more about the benefits of breathwork, click here.
  4. Reiki/energy healing.  To learn more about the benefits of Reiki, check out my blog about it.  To book a Reiki session with me, click here.
  5. Journal. This is a great way to get those pesky thoughts out of your head and onto paper.  Then…you can burn that paper (safely) to fully release. You can get started on a journaling practice with my free 31-day prompted journal!  I even wrote a blog post about journaling benefits.

Talk about letting go of what no longer serves you, I’m creating a new mini-course to help with just that and much more!

My new course, Reclaim Your Inner Strength, will provide you with the tools to unlock your resilience, say good-bye to limiting beliefs and reconnect with your true self.

By the end of the five days, you will have an actionable plan so that you can continue to harness your inner strength every day without falling back to your old limiting beliefs.

The tools I’m providing you are tools that I’ve used, myself. I wouldn’t share them if I hadn’t tried them first.

Reclaim Your Inner Strength will launch October 21st.

Since doing work on yourself can be bring up a lot of things, you can take this course every day for five days or however long you feel comfortable with.

It’s up to you, my friend.
